Our Chevrolet dealership is one of the many entities that make up what RK Auto Group is; a living and breathing company comprised of nearly 250 employees, making it a priority to have a reliable backbone infrastructure to hold up the company. That's where our support staff come in.
Working in our Support Department, is both challenging, yet enjoyable. No two days are the same. Our Sales and Service departments rely on the Support backbone of our company to be on hand to assist handling of these clients. We're always looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals with clerical knowledge and experience.
The Support Department in RK is an excellent platform to begin building and shaping your office or administrative career. The opportunities to grow within our company are endless. Working in support, you will learn the value of combining new-age technology with the tried and true techniques of our over 50-year old business. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on time is essential here.
Essential Duties
Accounts payable, accounts receivable, DMV processing, vehicle billing, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, schedule maintenance, write and post journal entries, file documents, receipt monies, prepare and mail monthly statements, and other duties as assigned by the department manager.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simply correspondence.
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs, or other graph & chart types.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
